POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for mid and senior level Java developer to play a pivotal role in the development of a highly visible, large scale document tracking/workflow management system for a federal agency. The backend is a Oracle ADF Framework. It provides a service layer for different user channels ranging from web clients, rich clients and batch users using web services. The work contains a portion of support and refactoring of the existing backend but mainly consist of new development to extend it for new functionality and add extra integration points. Candidates should have solid experience in multi tier backend Java.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years or more of experience using Enterprise Java Bean 3.X/Java Persistence API. As well as experience with a broad variety of technologies including Object Modeling, Data Modeling, JEE Framework, XML, JDK 1.5/1.6, UML, Oracle Application Developemnt Framework (ADF) Business Component, Knowledge of FileNet is a plus.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate will support existing and develop new backend functionality and components.
Understand existing product and domain elements and work with business analysts to refine and implement new requirements.
Refactor and improve the backend framework to keep the product maintainable and agile to new requirements.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
3 - 5 years experience designing and developing using Java.
BS/BA degree or equivalent required
Solid knowledge of SQL, Design Pattern, Data Modeling, and Object Modeling
