 Duration: Long Term

 The position of Senior ETL architect is for an IT professional who has  approx 10  years of IT experience and at least 5 years of experience in design and
 development of data movement and data transformation programs using Informatica. The applicant should have an in-depth working experience of relational data bases such  as Oracle and Teradata and dealing with unstructured data sources, like flat file, excel, pdf as well as a mdoelling experience and experience with a
 reportign tool such as Business obejects..
 RESPONSIBILITIES:
 1. Responsible for preparing the technical design specifications from the business requirements
 2. Responsible for the design and development of ETL processes
 3. Strong experience in exception handling design; complex transformations/workflows
 4. Strong experience in Data integration and cleansing
 5. Responsible for developing database applications using Oracle, Pl/Sql and UNIX shell scripts
 6. Work with the users to collect and understand the requirements
 7. Excellent Customer facing skills
 8. Responsible for communicating with other IT groups in collecting the requirements and also implementing the applications.
 9. Manages the integrity and reliability of the data.
 10. Develop and maintain the detailed project documentation
 QUALIFICATIONS:
 1. Expert in designing and developing the ETL processes using Informatica * MUST
 2. Ability to lead and mentor Informatica ETL developers * MU
 3. Experience in working with unstrutured data objects * MUST
 4. Highly knowledgeable in data warehousing concepts and technologies -  MUST
 5. In depth experience in dimensional and normalized modelling - MUST
 6. In depth experience with client server applications and architectures * MUST
 7. In depth hands on experience in Business Objects * MUST
 8. In depth understanding and development experience using SQL, Pl/Sql and UNIX scripting languages * MUST
 9. Proficiency with the Windows Server and UNIX operating systems - MUST
 10. Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior business and technical IT management * MUST
 11. Strong Analytical and problem solving abilities * MUST
 12. Informatica experience in working with DB2 database * PREFERRED
 13. Bachelor*s Degree (Computer Science preferred) * PREFERRED
